About This Project

Circle is the perfect product for those who want to get rid of their compost and also gain a profit by doing so. The worm compost is intended for the city, since it is often not easy to dispose of vegetable and fruit waste properly. Circle is easy to use, for families as well as young people in a residential community.

When the lid is opened, the view falls onto the shredder, hidden in the interior, which is operated by a crank attached to the housing. In order to protect childrens hands, the crank only turns when the lid is closed. Through the shredder, the larger compost waste is crushed so that the worms process it quicker to humus. This takes place in the first and second chambers, with differently sized floor holes. Thanks to these holes, the earthworms can climb up from the lower composting chamber, where the compost is crushed and descends. In the lowest chamber only the so-called compost tea remains, which can be used as a fertilizer for house-plants and other greenery. The fruit flies trap, filled with a mixture of vinegar, water and dishwashing detergent, is placed above and can be easily replaced again and again.
